TaxPost is in invite-only testing. Join our waitlist to hear when you can order.

What TaxPost is

TaxPost prepares and files annual accounts and Corporation Tax returns for UK private limited companies that qualify as micro-entities.

We file both after a director approves the exact documents. We don't prepare Self Assessment returns, or accounts for sole traders or partnerships.

We're in invite-only testing now, and we plan to take our first orders from early November 2026. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when you can order.

Who checks your accounts

We use software, AI and your answers to check and verify every transaction you send us, not a sample. That means our professional reviewers can focus on the exceptions and the genuinely difficult cases.

In Managed, a qualified accountant engaged by TaxPost reviews your accounts and Corporation Tax return before you approve them, checking for anomalies and for anything that would optimise your tax position further.

In Guided there's no accountant review. Our software optimises your tax position from the answers you give us, and you check the figures, with our explanations throughout.

Does a person check every transaction?

Not one by one. Our software checks every transaction in the records you send and turns anything it can't settle into a question for you. In Managed, an accountant then reviews the prepared accounts and return before you approve them. In Guided, you review the figures yourself, with our explanations.

How we use AI, and where people check

Do you use AI?

Yes. We use software, including AI, to read your records, check every transaction, spot what's missing and draft your accounts and Corporation Tax return. It's how we can check everything you send and still charge a fixed price.

Does AI make the decisions?

No. It doesn't approve anything, and nothing is filed without your approval. When your records don't show what a payment was for, we ask you, and we ask for evidence where the tax treatment depends on it. When a question needs judgement, a person takes over. In Managed, an accountant reviews the accounts and return before they come to you. Whichever service you choose, you approve the exact documents before we file them.

Registration and regulation

All Signed Off Limited, trading as TaxPost. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17454593. Registered office: 3rd Floor, Old Stock Exchange, St Nicholas Street, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS1 1TG.

Data protection

Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, ZC261913.

Anti-money laundering

We've applied to HMRC for anti-money laundering supervision and are awaiting approval.

HMRC

We file your Corporation Tax return as your agent, once you've authorised us with HMRC. We never ask for your HMRC sign-in details.

Companies House

We file your accounts with Companies House through our own presenter account, using your company's authentication code.

Your questions

Your questions, our answers, the drafts and what happens next all sit in one conversation in your TaxPost account. Your TaxPost assistant answers routine questions straight away from your own records. When a question needs judgement, a person takes over. If you email hello@taxpost.uk, a person replies.

Is there a limit?

No. Ask as many questions as you need about your company's accounts and Corporation Tax return, and ask for as many changes as you need before you approve. Questions about your own Self Assessment return are outside the service.

Ask about the business too. From this year's numbers, we'll explain how your salary, dividends and pension contributions affected the company's accounts and Corporation Tax, and where the company could be run more tax-efficiently.

What "optimise" means

We help you optimise your tax position.

We put every cost in the right place and claim every relief you're entitled to, in a way you could explain to HMRC. No promised savings, and nothing stretched.

Mistakes and penalties

If our delay makes your filing late, we pay the late-filing penalty Companies House or HMRC charges for it. That applies when you sent us complete records at least 3 working days before your deadline, and approved the documents within 1 working day of receiving them. If we make a preparation or submission error, we correct it and resubmit the filing you approved at no extra service charge. We don't pay tax or interest, or penalties caused by anything other than our own delay or error.

Deadlines

We're in invite-only testing, so we can't take on a filing today. When we open: Guided prepares your accounts and return as soon as your records are complete. In Managed, the reviewed documents are ready within 2–3 working days of a complete file. Before you pay, we'll tell you whether we can finish before your deadline. To file on time, send complete records at least 3 working days before it. Companies House and HMRC processing time is on top.
