Confirmation statements
We prepare your confirmation statement, send it to you to approve, file it with Companies House and confirm when it's been accepted.
Step 1
Do you qualify?
You are a director of the company.

Step 2
Before you start
Four checks
You know who the shareholders are, and how many shares each holds.
You know who has significant control over the company.
The registered office and business activity are still right.
You know what changed this year, and when.

Step 3
What we do
We check you're a fit.
We read the public register.
We ask a short round of questions.
For a confirmation statement, this is also where we pick up any other changes you should make at Companies House.
Most questions ask you to confirm what we found.
Not sure? Say so, and we'll suggest what's most likely.
Three example questions, each with the answers you can choose: whether the registered office, the shareholders and a person with significant control are unchanged. Step 4
Review, approve, submit
We prepare the draft documents.
You review them and sign them off.
We submit them for you.
You track their status and submission references in your account.

Step 5
If something goes wrong
If Companies House rejects your confirmation statement, we help you put it right.

Our fee
£49 + VAT
£58.80 including VAT at 20%
VAT-registered companies can normally reclaim the VAT.
Companies House filing fee
Companies House's fee for filing online is currently £50, when one is due.
We pass it on at cost, with nothing added.
Where the tax rules allow, we invoice it separately and without VAT.
It's due once a year, with the first confirmation statement you file in each 12-month period, not every time you file.
What the charge covers
Included
It covers confirming your company's details as they stand.
Not included
Changes to your directors
Changes to your registered office address
Changes to the people with significant control over the company (the people who own or control it)
Changes to your shares
Identity verification
Verifying your identity with Companies House is separate from the checks we make on who you are, though we may be able to reuse the same evidence.
